A walking tour of Chelsea’s art scene, led by  art expert,John Delmar, with a final stop at Finch alum   Nohra Haime’s stunning new gallery (500 West 21st Street).    Help us toast  Nohra and her newest addition to the New York art world.

We continue our new salon series- this time featuring  three  prominent Finch Women in the New York Real Estate Scene: Judy Kendall Levine, Sally Kraftmeyer Hallows, and Peggy Kutzen Wunderlich. Join us for a fall cocktail party, graciously  hosted by the Birch Wathen Lenox School in their lovely rooftop social hall followed by an informative and always entertaining discussion.

THE ARMORY ART AND ANTIQUES SHOW.

TEFAF New York Fall Exhibition - Saturday, Oct. 29, 2017. Over 90 dealers will be exhibiting fine and decorative arts and jewelry from antiquity through the early 20th century at this acclaimed international art fair launched last October. The Finch group will meet at noon on at the historic Park Avenue Armory in New York City. 643 Park Ave, NYC.

FINCH SCHOLAR, EIKO OTAKE in ALL-DAY PERFORMANCE  
SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 12

Eiko Otake  a world renown dancer and movement artist has the unique distinction to be the very first FINCH SCHOLAR.  Eiko can be seen in performance at the Met Breuer (at 945 Madison Avenue and  75th Street)  throughout the day.   Attend at your own convenience. (Check with Museum for ending time.)

A WINE AND CHEESE reception will begin at 5:00 p.m.
at the beautiful home of Scholarship Chairwoman Lois and Ron Ziegler
Address:  829  Park Avenue at the corner of 76th Street.  
Eiko will join the group shortly thereafter to discuss her “brilliant career.”

Arrive for an early   “dutch treat” dinner , followed by a fun-filled show featuring  New York Cabaret favorite and Finch College’s  own Tennie Leonard.    Dinner (optional) 6:00p.m. (pay at time of service) Show:7:30p.m.
Tickets:  $40.00   ($20.00 is tax deductible).
Two drink (soft or hard)  minimum at show

As you know, a great number of Finch Scholars have received the excellent education and mentoring at LaGuardia, enabling them to study further. We all had the pleasure to meet Gail Mellow when she spoke at the Cosgrave Awards event.
